    Ka’Neda N. Bullock, CFP®

    President and Founder

    Ka’Neda N. Bullock, CFP®, MBA, AIF®, APMA®, is president and founder of Master Plan Investment Group, based in Pennington, New Jersey. She is a wealth manager and corporate retirement plan advisor.

    She graduated with a bachelor's degree in government and economics from Smith College, where she was first-year class president and student body president her senior year. She studied for a semester in the Dominican Republic. After college, she completed a Fulbright fellowship in South Korea, where she studied economics and taught English at a girls' middle school. She speaks some Korean and Spanish.

    Ka'Neda began her career in the investment management industry with one of the largest investment firms in the nation, American Funds, also known as Capital Group. She left her corporate role to help individuals, families, and organizations, as a wealth manager and retirement plan advisor for Edward D. Jones & Co., financial services firm, from 2010 to 2014.  She became an independent wealth manager and advisor in 2014.

    As a wealth manager, Ka'Neda uses customized investment, insurance, and financial planning strategies to help clients maximize their portfolios, achieve their goals, and build generational wealth.

    In her role as a retirement plan advisor, she manages workplace retirement plans, such as 401(k) and 403(b) plans, bringing her experience to the entire organization.

    Ka'Neda established Master Plan Investment Group in 2019 with a mission to serve clients by helping them clarify their financial goals, chart a course for success, and live a fulfilled life. She became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) professional in April 2020. Currently, 3.7 percent of CFP® professionals are Black or Latino, and only 23.3 percent are women. Ka'Neda is committed to improving these statistics. She holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and holds life insurance (term, permanent, and long-term care) and health licenses.

    She was one of 15 selected out of the 400 women advisors to be on the inaugural Commonwealth Financial Network Women's Council. The council advises Commonwealth in its efforts to increase the number of women advisors at Commonwealth and industry-wide and promote their retention. The group will help influence hiring, support, and resources needed to advance this effort. Commonwealth provides independent financial advisors across the country, including Master Plan Investment Group, with trading technology, brokerage services, compliance, and other back-office services.

    Ka’Neda received her MBA from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where she recognized the future role of technology in the investment management industry and used this knowledge as a foundation for her business.

    She is a frequent speaker on money management, including retirement income strategies, investing, insurance, long-term care, financial planning, and general financial literacy.

    Ka'Neda is a member of the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Financial Planning Association (FPA), and the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA).

    Ka'Neda grew up in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She and her husband, Eric, who is an educator, and their two daughters, Bella and Madison, live in New Jersey. The family enjoys volunteering, as well as supporting live music, visual arts, and comedy in the community, and traveling. Among the countries Ka'Neda has visited are Canada, Liberia, Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico. She believes in being a global citizen.

    She is also an active member of the Trenton Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in which she serves on the finance and strategic planning committee; Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey, in which she served as the Director of Budgets and Economic Empowerment Chair; Jack and Jill of America, Inc./Mercer County Chapter, in which she serves on the finance committee; Newark Symphony Hall Investment Committee; and the Robert Wood Johnson Young Professionals Board.

    Andrea is instrumental in making sure your needs are met and that the firm is operating efficiently. She manages our wealth management onboarding and ongoing client servicing process, employer retirement plan consulting processes, and multiple day-to-day business functions. A few things she can help you with include:

    • Assisting with account opening process and paperwork
    • Monitoring incoming account transfers and rollovers
    • Processing distributions/contributions to/from your accounts
    • Updating your beneficiaries and trusted contacts
    • Scheduling professional partner and community partner meetings
    • Answering questions about our firm and unique services
    • Expediting urgent requests

    Outside of operational support to the advisors, Andrea’s responsibilities include overseeing the team, managing client engagement, marketing, and business development. She leads initiatives to enhance client experience and strengthen client relationships.

    Tameka’s primary focus is working with you to ensure an exceptional client service experience. She manages our client scheduling process and racks client service activity throughout the year, so no client need is overlooked. She also provides administrative support to the advisors. Tameka will often be your first point of contact. Contact her when you need to:

    • Schedule, confirm, or reschedule an appointment (Calendly)
    • Change your address, email, or phone number
    • Learn how to access your investment account(s) online
    • Obtain additional information about your account(s)
    • Updating your beneficiaries and trusted contacts
    • Scheduling professional partner/vendor/community partner meetings
    • Answering questions about our firm

    In addition to her administrative duties, Tameka’s goal is to provide clients with excellent service and an overall positive experience to facilitate an elevated level of client growth and satisfaction.

    Tameka has been a valued member of our firm since 2021. She is a mother of two daughters, Tymia and Kamya. She is also a U.S. Army veteran and spent 10 years in law enforcement as a corrections officer after leaving the military.

    During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters and family, painting, and going to the movies.

    Matilda co-manages the Financial Planning and Employee Education onboarding and ongoing service with your advisor. Her unique perspective and close attention to detail when organizing your family or employee financial education and planning information will ensure a smooth transition to your advisor and a high level of client service and satisfaction. Matilda can assist you with:

    • Logging into and navigating Right Capital, your financial planning software
    • Running personal and employer retirement plan investment reports /li>
    • Obtaining insurance and long-term care illustrations

    Matilda’s main responsibilities include financial planning and employer retirement plan support, investment research, and insurance planning. Her goal is to provide clients with an overall exceptional financial planning and retirement plan support experience.

    In addition to joining Master Plan Investment Group in 2022, Matilda will receive a bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in private wealth in May 2023 from Rider University. Her career goal is to become a Certified Financial Planner and promote financial literacy in underserved communities.

    When she is not at work or school, Matilda leads worship at her church and spends time with friends and family.
