Ka'Neda's journey is rooted in her experiences in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where she was raised as a child, and Smith College, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in government and economics. Her early leadership experiences as the first-year class president and student body president paved the way for her to serve on the Board of Trustees at Smith College for two years following graduation. She has a global perspective, having lived abroad, including a semester in the Dominican Republic and a Fulbright fellowship in South Korea, where she studied economics and taught English at a girls' middle school.
Her career began with one of the nation's largest investment firms, American Funds (Capital Group), before transitioning to her role as a wealth manager and retirement plan advisor with Edward D. Jones & Co. from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, she became an independent wealth manager and advisor, leading to the establishment of Master Plan Investment Group in 2019.
Ka'Neda, her husband Eric, and their two daughters, Bella and Madison, call New Jersey home but frequently travels to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. to visit family and friends. The family is actively involved in volunteering and supports live music, visual arts, and comedy in their community, all while nurturing their love for travel. Ka'Neda's extensive travels across the globe reflect her commitment to being a global citizen.
